Item 7: Door of Light – Drake Castle Courtyard Fight 1-2 battles as needed to reach level 2. Item 5: Point Card (in Drawer after touching World Map for 1st time) Item 4: Mei’s Pendant (from Mei when leaving) I recommend using Charging Scorch (v > ^) I would reset if you don’t get it by the second try. (Must talk to Mei, take her to your house or item 4 is permanently missed)įight Gimard and get the Gimard spell (55% chance). Item 1: Healing Leaf x3 (Shopkeep in Rim Elm, after Mist, pre-Meta – permanently missed after getting Meta!) Night: Talk to Village Elder to advance plot On the first turn, attack with a single command to save a fraction of a second.Īt dusk, go to Vahn’s house & talk to Val to advance to night. Vahn’s House – more mashing Tetsu training. When Mei talks about the hunter’s clothes, second option is faster. Unlike many games, there is no 1 character / frame limitation on text. Still, it’s wise to cross-check for completeness’s sake (I did, and you should too because who wants to do a run this long and then miss an item halfway through…)ĭefault Names are fastest.

With that said, the order in which the items are listed on that guide isn’t the best way to pick up all the items, so I’ll be getting them in a different order.

I recommend 42, but 41 is probably safe.Ī full checklist of all items, with some pictures of where they are, can also be found here. We’ll also have Vahn with Crimson Book to get a lot of EXP, since he’ll need lots of levels for Master Course. Since you’ll be in the best shape to take them out, and absorb rates are highest at 元 (and you’ll have Ivory Books), we’ll get the bare minimum number of Seru throughout the game, then grind for them all in Bio-Castle. The good news for Seru absorption is that NO Seru are permanently missable they all appear in Bio-Castle at 元. Then there’s Lapis, Master Course, and Earth Egg, the unholy trinity of the run.Īll treasures tracked by the in-game tracker on the end screen are collected (260/260) We just have to pick up a lot of stuff and absorb all the Seru on all characters. All the stuff I wrote about tips and tricks for any% continues to hold true in this category. This is a long run, and not for the faint-of-heart. I highly suggest starting off with any% or any% no slots. Repeat the above pattern the entire battle and Rogue should eventually be defeated.First, to the poor soul who got suckered in to running this category, you have my sympathies. After it attacks, heal with Gala and attack with Vahn and Noa. The next turn, attack with everyone while Rogue uses another Element Change, and then Spirit with everyone the following round. After Rogue attacks the next turn, have Gala heal with Spoon and Vahn and Noa both use Miracle Arts (or a powerful Hyper Art chain with Vahn if he does not have 9 art blocks available yet). Whenever it uses Element Change, all party members must use Spirit. Rogue's attack pattern is the key to beating it.

Rogue's first turn will simply be an Element Change, which prepares it for its attack the next round. At the start of battle, every party member should attack with Arts or Seru spells. Its attacks are Rogue Flame, Rogue Wind, and Rogue Thunder - each attack corresponds to the element of either Vahn, Noa, or Gala.Įquipment does not matter too much in this battle, though all party members should be healed with Spoon every other round, making a Spirit Jewel or Spirit Talisman along with a Magic Grail very useful on the primary healer (Gala being the obvious choice). All of Rogue's attacks hit the entire party and can cause 1,500+ damage to those not using Spirit and 700+ to those using Spirit. However, being careless can result in a lost battle due to the strength of Rogue's multi-target attacks. Rogue is a surprisingly simple boss to defeat due to its obvious attack pattern. The battle against Rogue is fought inside Rogue's Tower after the Ra-Seru heroes invade the tower in an attempt to cut off the source of the Mist flowing through Conkram of the past. Rogue (ルージ, Rūji) is the original creator of the Mist and a boss in Legend of Legaia.
